Call for Expressions of Interest

RM of Excelsior No. 166

The RM of Excelsior No. 166 is accepting Expressions of Interest for the Breeding Pasture.  The number allotted per patron is 15 cow/calf pairs, however, the final number may alter in a future year as it is determined by the amount of grass in the pasture.  The cost to buy-in is $3,795.00            which is followed by an annual breeding/maintenance fee of approximately $100.00 per cow.  The $3,795.00 is payable this year only and would be due once you have been informed that you have been accepted.  The annual breeding/maintenance fee is due each year and is payable before the first take-in day.

Pasture fees for 2025 are $1.50 per day for the cow/calf pair.  There is also a charge of $10 per animal as contribution to the Livestock Insurance fund to cover losses.

Please note:  All livestock must be branded prior to being brought to the pasture.  The Expressions of Interest are only for ratepayers within the RM.
